Farming pullets requires passion and constant, careful monitoring from the farmer and technician. Until they reach 18 weeks, our pullets have good growing conditions, particularly due to the quality of their diet. The best possible environment is necessary to ensure the hens’ good health. Density, temperature, humidity, lighting, aeration, number of feeders and drinking bowls… Our co-op farmers and experts take every parameter into consideration. Because the health of our birds remains the farmer’s main concern.

The objectives of Eureden’s laying hen member farmers are to contribute to wellbeing and biodiversity. Everything from feed to care, including the living environment, is designed as closely as possible to nature with the aim of zero impact in mind. The key to success? Absolute trust and transparency between the poultry technician and the co-op farmer. It is their solidarity, support and common passion that guarantees the laying hens’ good physical condition and balanced diet, and good-quality eggs.

Geographical proximity and good collaboration among our farmers and production sites are essential to guaranteeing the total traceability and consistent quality of our products. Our sites also help to promote and sustain the industry as a whole, as well as contributing to regional economic development. Free-range, organic or cage-free chicken farming: day in day out, our sites are just as good at making omelettes from extra-fresh eggs as they are at meeting diners’ expectations for animal wellbeing.
